Building a Safer Workplace
At Baettr, our goal is to make a significant safety impact on new employees as early as possible. We dedicate, among many activities, a full day to this training, where HSE Managers outline safety expectations, share experiences, encourage open dialogue through Q&A sessions, and facilitate group exercises. This interactive approach ensures that everyone understands the material and feels confident in contributing to our safety culture.
During the training, HSE Managers emphasize that our behavior sets the tone for safety. By providing this training to all employees, we aim to elevate safety awareness across our sites. Safety is not just a responsibility – it is a shared commitment. We are all accountable for our own safety and for speaking up if we see something that compromises it.
Reflections
At the end of each session, we ask participants to reflect on what they have learned by writing a safety-related note on a post it. Here are a few thoughts from last week’s session:
