An incredible milestone has been reached: Baettr receives the EcoVadis Gold Medal with a score of 78/100!
This achievement places us among the top 5% of companies rated by EcoVadis worldwide! None of this would have been possible without the innovation, commitment to sustainable solutions, and hard work across all Baettr locations.
Receiving the Gold Medal is a massive step forward in Baettr’s sustainability journey. Last year, Baettr received the EcoVadis Bronze Medal with a score of 62/100. The requirements are getting tougher every year, so skipping the Silver Medal and jumping straight to Gold is an extraordinary accomplishment – one that was originally set as a target for 2028 in our strategic sustainability roadmap.
Working with sustainability has become an even more essential part of our day-to-day work at Baettr over the past few years. With the efforts of the Sustainability team, our approach to EcoVadis and the collection of documentation on how we operate has been structured in a new capacity that leads us in a direction we can all be immensely proud of.
WHAT IS ECOVADIS?
EcoVadis is one of the world’s most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings. With more than three million companies screened and 150,000 companies rated across all industries in over 185 countries, EcoVadis offers a global, independent platform. Its ratings are based on a comprehensive sustainability assessment methodology that evaluates efforts in four key categories: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.
OUR SCORES AND HOW THEY WERE INCREASED
We have made significant improvements in three areas while maintaining our exceptional environment score.
Since our last EcoVadis rating in the fall of 2024, the Sustainability team has taken a highly structured approach to improving our performance.
All potential improvements and actions were mapped out, and Group functions as well as all sites received an overview highlighting what solutions, procedures, and actions could make a significant difference to our scores.
MOST IMPORTANTLY: WHY IS THIS AN IMPORTANT ACHIEVEMENT?
Reaching this level strengthens Baettr’s commercial position, builds customer confidence, and demonstrates that we can turn ambitions into measurable results. The Gold Medal proves that we take sustainability seriously and work systematically to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
It supports our “ESG Frontrunner” strategy by showing that we are moving at the pace required to stay ahead in an increasingly competitive market – creating long-term value and growth for Baettr.
Additionally, the Gold Medal reinforces Baettr’s clear purpose and goal, aligning efforts across our entire global organization.
